Okay then, this story is about our trip to Kurunegala. Actually, it's not a trip, Small one. firstly we are going to Negombo and after going to Kurunegala. This story starts in Negombo on the day after Christmas. When the others who came with us to Relatives house in Negombo were going home, we thought that we should go somewhere else instead of going home. So the easiest and best place was Kurunegala. Okay, we said goodbye to Relatives and boarded the Kurunegala bus from Negombo. After a short journey, we came directly in front of the Kurunegala bus stand. We were a little hungry at that time. We thought whether we should eat and see the lake, so we looked at the distance to the lake side and a good shop where we could eat. So we first went to lake and decided to eat after seeing the Kurunegala lake. Since lake round is not too far away, we started this trip on foot. So we could see Athugala in the distance. After a while, we saw it looked very beautiful and wanted to go quickly. So we went to the place where the lake enters the lake round. Went and saw if there was a place for us to stay freely. So all the benches were booked that day. So when we went a little further, we found a place to go down to the lake and from there we sat down and ate some sweets with the group. We stayed there for a while, took photos, stepped on the water and wore a free fish therapy. Although we were very hungry before, when we came here, we saw the beauty and missed it. So we went along the lake circle to the other end and went to the restaurant we found earlier. The food there is very good. The name of the restaurant is "Three". So after we ate, TukTuk got up there, waiting to go to Athugala.

Although it was raining a little while we were going, we thought that we would be able to get up and down before it rained. Then we came to the base of Athugala. We started to climb Athugala with the group when the rain was slowly approaching. While going up for a short distance, it began to growl, so we made the decision to go down instead of going up. The reason is because it is dangerous to stay up there even if it rains and there is lightning. So we started to descend quickly. We went down with the intention of coming back to Athugala soon. The rain has increased and the view of Athugala has not diminished in the slightest. So we came down in the cold and wet. The rain was very heavy. We didn't even have a place to stay down, so the wetness went ahead. The last place we stayed at was the roof under the North-West Provincial Council gate. Then he saw a security guard there and called us come to inside. After that, I called a friend of my mother's and went to their house immediately, after resting for a while, I came to the Kurunegala bus stand and boarded the bus to Colombo. Even though the bus was full that day, we came to Colombo and boarded the bus to come to Hikkaduwa. So the story of our half way up Athugala will end here. So everyone be careful.
